    3. I have made an error when putting an item into a scrapbook. Instead of entering the photo at 100% I have doubled the size. Although It is fine in on-screen viewing it is far to large and costly to send by E. Mail. Is there a way I can reduce the memory size back to 100%, without having to re-borrow the photograph and re-introduce it into the programme?. Any assistance gratefully received. Michael (chump) Dorey.

    3. I'm not sure what you mean when you say that you entered a photo at "double the size" instead of 100%. If you used photographic software to change the size of the photo it should be possible to resize to a smaller photo. Remember do NOT use the original photo. Make a copy of the photo to work on. That said, there are several ways to prepare a photo to send by email. Make a copy and save it as a JPEG file. This does some compression of the photo data making a smaller file that can be sent as an email attachment. Make a ZIP file from the photo. This compresses the photo file into a smaller file that can be sent as an email attachment. Many of the photographic packages have the capability to send photos by email while using the software. The process formats the photo into a smaller file, usually JPEG, and attaches it to the email. This process works from the original photo without modifying it. (I would work with a copy of the photo just to be on the safe side.) Whatever method is used you should work with a copy of your photo, NOT the original, before attempting the process. Or even better backup your photos before doing any work on them.
