    3. I am guessing, that you exported the people to go on the web site to this GEDCOM, then imported it into a new, empty database. So far, it sounds good. Then you edit the fact types through the Lists menu, fact Types, and deselect the WWW usage for certain facts, but they still show up on the web page. They don’t on a book type of page, to remove them from the FGS type page, you have to deselect their use on the Family group sheet. I just discovered this, I wonder if Bruce even thought of it. I haven’t checked, but I wonder about the pedigree chart type of web page. I see what you mean about not wanting to change the original file, I can’t remember which facts I changed. The GEDCOM, or even a Backup, to a temporary file seems like the way to go. You can then delete the database when you are through with it and don’t have to worry about some anomaly showing up later.
