I had to try it, I knocked the color depth down from 16 bit to 256 colors, I have no texture choices anymore. (and the screen colors are YUCKY) I like the wood texture best, the medium one, because it is darker it seems that it is easier on my eyes. Alfred

Apparently I had changed the settings, but in this case it is probably the default color settings on the new computer, but they can be changed. Here's an idle comment: If you frequently use different windows color schemes or desktop themes, then if you set the FO screen color to the standard gray background then the FO colors will change along with the windows or desktop scheme colors that you use (as also will the colors of the other programs that you use).
