Derick, I have created descendant report web pages before and everything prints just fine. But it appears that all descendant families don't print when you create your site by generating the family group sheets... if there is more than one marriage and family, then only the families by the first marriage print. I'm wondering if no one else is using this capability in the program?? At 09:18 PM 6/11/01 -0400, Derick wrote: >At 08:13 PM 6/11/01, P. I could be wrong, But -- it wouldnt be the first time. It seems to me, that when you ask to select a bunch of family group sheets, asking for the descendants and their spouses is redundant. (the same goes for ancestors) If you ask for a family group sheet for John Doe and his descendants, he is listed as the father/husband in the first one, and no more, but his children will be listed as children on his sheet, and again as a parent along with their spouse in their own family, If they ever married. FOR INSTANCE: If I select my grandfather and all his ancestors (No need to select their spouses) and then I select him and all his descendants, (again, no need for spouses) I get a family group sheet for all three of my grandfathers marriages, and three marriages for the two grandchildren that I know of that were married three times. In other words, mine works just like I would think it should (FOW 9.03) Good Luck, Alfred ============ ----- Original Message ----- From: "P. Alfred (and Bruce, if you're listening), I see that all of the family group chart web pages ARE created. It's just that, when you open one and follow the links down a descendant line, it leads to the FGS of the first spouse only. In order to get to the group sheet with the 2nd spouse and family, you have to go back to the fowndx.htm page and select all available links for a person to get to the sheets which lists other spouses and families. It seems that following the descendant links should lead to all families, even if there is more than one spouse and family. The group sheet should have a link associated with each spouse's name so they could all be followed directly. ***I would think the default would be to include the latest spouse and not the first in the direct links. Or the one set as the "default" spouse. Better yet, that on the fgs web page where the person is listed in the family as a child and it shows their spouses, that there were links to each spouse that led to the individual family pages.*** Patricia At 09:05 PM 6/11/01 -0500, Alfred Eller wrote: >I could be wrong, But -- it wouldn't be the first time. > >It seems to me, that when you ask to select a bunch of family group sheets, >asking for the descendants and their spouses is redundant.
