Hello I have been using FH 4 since it was introduced and have just come across a problem I have not seen before. My main ged data file has disappeared and I have a .tmp file in its place. The change was preceded by an error message, when I attempted to save the file I was working on, which said something to the effect that it would not save owing to an error. Has anyone experienced this before and if so, what do I do to reload this tmp file and recover the data. I do have a back up, but it is about 5 days old, so recovery will save me some re-entry of data. Pandr This email and any attachments is intended for the named recipient only. This sometimes happens when an Anti-Virus program or backup program grabs the file while FH is still working on it. There are some improvements in V5 to do several retries before failing, -- Jane.
