    3. In the following example of a query column expression: =Text(%INDI.FAMS>CHIL>NAME:FIRST% . " " . %INDI.FAMS>CHIL>BIRT.DATE%) Is it possible to replace the " " with a carriage return so that the second excpression appears on a new line? Martin

Even multi-line text fields such as in 'Note' or 'Text From Source' are displayed in Query Columns all on one line. Regards, Mike Tate

    3. Thanks Mike. I'll have to work what I want in a diagram text box then. I'm trying to find a time saving way of putting stuff into Wikitree. 3. Martin, What sort of 'stuff' are you trying to put into Wikitree? Did you know that Wikitree accepts GEDCOM? You can export almost any subset of data from FH as a GEDCOM. Then you can 'upload' or 'import' the GEDCOM to Wikitree and it is important you understand the difference. See http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/How_to_use_WikiTree especially the sections mentioning GEDCOM. This guide is obtained by scrolling right to the bottom of any Wikitree page and clicking Help. 3. Yes, I tried that initially with 100 or so. The resulting mess took 3 months to clean up. I'm now entering by hand, but it speeds things up if I can just copy and paste a biography of essential information and sources. I started with a Word template, which works OK, but still takes a long time. Apart from all the junk, I had the problem that I use Chapman codes and they all had to be replaced. Most of the problem profiles on Wikitree are the result of GEDCOPM uploads which are just dumped when people realise the work involved in the cleanup. I don't know anyone except beginners who still uses that method. Wikitree advises strongly against large GEDCOM uploads, but even a small one is not easy. Anyway, I'm getting there now. Thanks for the help.
