    3. Hi all I remember a discussion a while back re the merits of using Christening or Baptism -  without wishing to open that all up again, just to say that at the time I plumped for Christening and I remember a useful utility to convert one to the other - however now that I have been using Ancestral Sources to add Baptisms, that is what they are!  So I now have a mix of Christenings and Baptisms again! So my questions are:  1. Can someone remind me what that utility was called, again? & 2. are there any issues if I convert an AS generated Baptism to a Christening? Will the media links be retained etc? Thank you   Regards Steve

    3. You are probably thinking of Mike Tate's plugin 'Chang any Fact Tab'. (Assuming you have V5 and can use plugins.) The Christening-to-Baptism and Baptism-to-Christening changes are on pre-defined buttons as they are the most commonly required changes. I don't think there will be any problems resulting from changing AS-generated baptisms to christenings, but you might want to consider making the change the other way, so that all your christening events become baptisms. Then if you continue to use AS for baptisms in the future you won't have to remember to keep running the plugin to change the events to christenings afterwards. 3. Just in case you haven't realised, you can opt to use a christening fact in Ancestral Sources under Tools->Options->Baptism Options. Just tick 'Use Christening fact instead'.
