John, Check this thread in the FHUG Forums: Problem opening V.5: File ';mfc100.dll' http://www.fhug.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=9829 There it suggests you need XP Service Pack 3 installed, or offers a Microsoft link to download missing mfc100.dll file. I have installed V4 with no problem, is the V5 installation disk faulty, prior to this the disk was only used twice and has been kept in its box in a warm room. John

    3. If that does not fix the problem then an FHUG Forums Search for "mfc100.dll" found some other suggestions. It is always a good idea to search the FHUG website for previous topics or the Knowledge Base for advice. You do not even have to register to use the Search features.     3. Hi Mike, Thank you for advice, I installed XP Service Pack 3, this has resolved my problem. I was hoping to install FH V5 with only Service Pack 2, my intention was to use this old laptop for only backups and not to connect to the internet due to Microsoft withdrawing support for XP from this coming April.
