If that does not fix the problem then an FHUG Forums Search for "mfc100.dll" found some other suggestions. It is always a good idea to search the FHUG website for previous topics or the Knowledge Base for advice. You do not even have to register to use the Search features. Hi Mike, Thank you for advice, I installed XP Service Pack 3, this has resolved my problem. I was hoping to install FH V5 with only Service Pack 2, my intention was to use this old laptop for only backups and not to connect to the internet due to Microsoft withdrawing support for XP from this coming April.
