Dear All I have created Pdf and jpg copies of Birth and Marriage records from the IGI index and the like and want to put them into the file in which FH stores them in and then link them to the sources which I have created. Can I have the filepath and name of the file so I can locate where FH stores such things? Can I just drag n' drop them in that file and then just link them to my sources. It is my first time of using sources ever and I am not using Ancestral sources this time - but will probably do that next time. ---------------------- Best wishes, Anne

There is a great deal of advice in the free FHUG Knowledge Base about adding Sources and Multimedia. See http://www.fhug.org.uk/wiki/ for Family Historian and Ancestral Sources and Glossary of Terms. A good entry to start with is the animated tutorial for adding a Birth Certificate: http://www.fhug.org.uk/wiki/doku.php?id=how_to:recording_details_from_a_birth_certificate Basically, on the Source Record Multimedia tab you add new media and tell FH where it currently exists. FH then copies the file into the Project and creates a Multimedia Record to identify it. Regards, Mike Tate
