On the border of FH top left it is identified by "Family Historian Gedcom" instead of "Family Historian Project". Essentially you need to use "File > Project Window > New Project > Import a GEDCOM file". BUT do read the help and advice first, especially if you have associated Multimedia files. Otherwise, the Multimedia will NOT get imported into the Project and you will have to start over again.
