Hi Caryl, Does the problem apply to just unlink, or to any data change, or even simply just viewing? Is there any specific error message such as "Family Historian has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly."? If that particular message then try the DEP fix at: http://www.family-historian.co.uk/support/faq-inst#wontrun Have there been any significant changes to your PC setup recently? What version of Windows are you using?
