    3. Nev, Have you tried using Tools > Work with Fact Sets and clicking Show Hidden button to see if that reveals Position in the Label or Name column? The other place to look for clues is C:\ProgramData\Calico Pie\Family Historian\Fact Types\Custom or Standard .fhf files. Regards, Mike Tate -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of [email protected] Sent: 17 March 2014 17:30 To: [email protected] Subject: [FHU] Mystery Fact I have returned to a GEDCOM file that I had not used for many years, as it had, I thought a useful function defined within it. I had created a Fact called ‘Position’, the people were all Barons and the like, and on inspection I can see the Fact along with its content for each person in the file, along with its descriptive sentence. I assume the ‘ Position’ Fact was a Custom Fact but I can find no trace of it, and therefore i cannot enter the details into diagram options so that I can add the data in to a printed family tree. I assume I would have based it upon the ‘Occupation’ fact. Have I deleted it ? Am I looking for it in the wrong place? How do I recover to the point I was all those years ago without losing the data already entered? thank you Nev.Ramsden ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message

    2. Mike & Lorna, Thank you both - and yes it was hidden - but it is said to be <undefined> I will obviously have to recreate it before I can make progress. I wonder why I did not use Title attribute? I checked a back-up file for a date and it is over 7 years ago ! No wonder it is all 'double Dutch' Nev. -----Original Message----- From: Beryl & Mike Tate Sent: Monday, March 17, 2014 10:22 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [FHU] Mystery Fact Nev, Have you tried using Tools > Work with Fact Sets and clicking Show Hidden button to see if that reveals Position in the Label or Name column? 3. If you decide to now use "Title" attribute you can use "Change Any Fact Tag" Plugin to change <Custom Fact> "Position" to Standard "Title".
