Adrian, That problem should be reported to Ancestry because they are misinterpreting the GEDCOM according to its specification. The 'Y' after the DEAT tag is nothing to do with the PLAC or ADDR subordinate tags. The 'Y' is simply an assertion that 'Y'es the person has died, but no details of Date or Place are known.
