This may have nothing to do with the original question, but if I give a person a date of death, then delete the date of death, the All tab in the Property Box still has a blank field "Died" which in turn is displayed in diagrams. Looking at the GEDCOM there is a "1 DEAT" for that person. I can delete the "Died" field in the All tab which in turn deletes the "1 DEAT" from the GEDCOM. I am therefore wondering if Family Historian should automatically remove the blank "Died" field when the death date is deleted? Trevor Rix
