Good morning, I have just updated both Parallels and Windows at home (had to install new versions, I couldnt upgrade the ones I had - too old for upgrades), and now when I try and open FH it fails, no error message or anything. Will this be solved be re-installing the program? I am on version 5 still which I upgraded from V4. Thanks Karen
Karen, If you've 'upgraded' to Windows 10 by installing into an existing virtual machine to try to retain your Windows software installations, you may find that some of the dependencies required by your programs haven't been carried forward to the Windows 10 installation. Re-installing Family Historian 5 should put things right, but make sure you have a 'backup' of any customised Family Historian settings you've made just in case you have to reset them.
