Hi All I have over the years deleted various erroneously entered individuals and families from the database, this seems to have left a few hundred sources with zero citations. Can someone confirm that sources with no citations have no connection to anyone in the database? If that is the case how do I get them into a list to block erase them? Regards Ray
Yes, any sources with zero citations can be deleted. First, in the Records window (Sources tab) sort them by holding down the Alt key while clicking on the Citations column heading. This will bring all the sources with zero citations to the top of the list. Then select all those sources by clicking on the first, then holding the shift key and clicking on the last. Then use Edit > Add to Named List, and create a new list. Then in the Named List Pane right-click on the list and select Delete Listed Records.
