I have checked to register for my parents. I did not know when they had moved to the house I was born in. I do know now it was not at the time the register was prepared. They lived at another address, which I knew of. They rented this address and my father was listed as the head of house. Strangely my mother was also listed. I put this down to the fact that my mother was his second wife and my father had children from both marriages. Alternatively it could be due to the premises being a shop and my father was the manager with his family living above the shop. That would explain why both names were listed. I only had a look at the preview and have not bought a copy of the register.
