    3. Mike I don't have a problem with that. I won't touch the registry with a barge-pole but I also don't want programs clogging up my C: drive. I've been working with FH for years with it installed on my E: drive, back to Windows 7. The exe file is located there, with all the data and reports stored on my Data D; disk. Admittedly I only use FH to define my tree, with photos and sources. I've un-hidden files and searched my C: drive but can't find anything with "calico" or "family" on it. The registry of course is there and links from the Start menu. Perhaps I've just been lucky. I wasn't planning to fool Windows 10, I do plan to continue to make my boot-up as fast as possible, maybe even approaching Apple, without forking out for an even larger SSD.
