    3. Colin, I recall you were very helpful on the Forum getting FH to work under Crossover and with your help & Mike's I do appear to have both FH & AS working satisfactorily (for me at least) on my Mac's under Crossover. I understand there is a Mapping issue and I must acknowledge that I haven't exhaustively worked through all FH's possible input/output/data processing options but to the specifics you mention below have following experience:- 1. While there is an issue with printing to pdf I have found no problems in printing reports to an rtf that opens fine in Pages or Word or in printing reports to hard copy. This is good enough for me and I can create pdf's outside of FH subsequently if then needed and after inevitable editing of the report generated in a Word Processor. Is there some other problem I have missed here? 2. AS appears to be working OK for me so long as I run it from within FH6 via the plugin. I'm running this on my iMac under Lion and my Macbook under Yosemite. There is a minor niggle on the Macbook install. It doesn't like to add the multimedia images and I've had to edit the source in FH subsequently to add the MMO. This might be something I did during the installation because it looks slightly different on the macbook (unless it's a difference between Lion and Yosemite?). On the iMac all the AS files appear in the Windows 7 bottle info list but not in the Crossover Family Historian main window pane which only shows the Family Historian program files. On the macbook AS appears alongside FH in the main window pane as well as in the Win7 bottle info list. I've not got round to uninstalling AS on the Macbook and trying to reinstall yet as it's not a big hassle to just post edit the Source entry after saving the new entry from AS. I should add have not used other plug-ins so m! aybe there are more issues there than I'm aware of but for me AS seems to work OK. 3. Right now I am working solely with FH v6.0 and AS v4.5 using Crossover v14.0.3 and I have ditched Parallels. I have not yet upgraded to more recent versions of any of these softwares so I can't say whether there are new problems emerging if I do. I plan to upgrade to FH 6.4 sometime soon. And I might try the latest version of Crossover. Fingers crossed! I do hope Crossover can become a viable option quite generally as my experiences so far are very positive and I have no plans (as yet!) to revert to a virtual machine, given that I don't have an overriding requirement to run other Windows applications on my Macs. best Colin Buckthorp On 17 October 2015 08:38:14 GMT+01:00, Colin Spencer <colinsp@costablancaexpats.net> wrote: > Mike > > As you know I spent a considerable amount of time getting FH and Crossover > to work. 3. You success with AS is because you are using V4.5 and not the latest V5.0 which exhibits the problem, so do NOT upgrade! You talk about upgrading to FH V6.4 but I think you mean V6.0.4 and I advise that you do upgrade.
