Dear All I am a reasonably long term user of FH4. My project consists of about 860 individuals - my mother's family. Recently I have been researching and compiling a separate tree for my maternal great grandmother's branch. Currently, it consists of roughly 200 individuals. How do I 'stick' the two trees together? The only common individual in both trees is my my maternal great grandmother herself. I have read the help files about merging and comparing but was frankly baffled. When I attempted to do what I thought was suggested, I lost all the links to attached multimedia in the original tree and all the unrelated spouses on the added tree. Clearly I haven't a clue what I am doing! So... I wish to expand my original tree, retaining existing multimedia, adding approximately 200 more individuals and their associated multimedia with just one individual in common between the two trees.
