I suspect the GENBOX implementation for media is different to the one FH uses. In your file what do you have in the 0 @M21@ section of your file. Family Historian would expect the file statement to be in the media record where it's used like this 0 @O16@ OBJE 1 FORM jpeg 1 TITL Alan Mullins & Joyce Crabb Wedding 1 _FILE Media\AMullinsJCrabbWedding.jpg 1 _KEYS photos,Picture Where the file is locally linked you would see something like 2 OBJE 3 FORM JPG 3 FILE C:\Genealogy\Locations\Eberwhite Elementary School.jpg 3 TITL my file title >> 1 EVEN >> 2 TYPE Elementary School >> 2 DATE AUG 1952 AND JUN 1955 >> 2 PLAC Eberwhite Elementary School, 800 Soule Blvd., Ann Arbor, Washtenaw, >> Michigan, United States >> 2 _FORWARD [P] attended school [L] [D] >> 2 OBJE @M21@ >> 3 FORM JPG >> 3 FILE C:\Genealogy\Locations\Eberwhite Elementary School.jpg >> 2 OBJE @M22@ >> 3 FORM JPG >> 3 FILE C:\Genealogy\Locations\Eberwhite Elementary School 2.jpg >> 3 _PRIM Y -- Jane. Thanks Jane. Where you write locally linked files would be in the format: 2 OBJE 3 FORM JPG 3 FILE C:\Genealogy\Locations\Eberwhite Elementary School.jpg I am seeing the following in the exported GEDCOM file: 2 OBJE @M21@ 3 FORM JPG 3 FILE C:\Genealogy\Locations\Eberwhite Elementary School.jpg The difference seems to be the @M21@ in the 2 OBJE line of the Genbox exported GEDCOM. I believe I will try an individual search and replace for the @M21@ string and try importing the resulting GEDCOM. Again, thanks for your assistance. Best, Denise L. Yes the @M21@ is pointing to a record which will start 0 @M21@ So you might want to double check what's below that line, feel free to post it and I will help if I can.
