Jane, Yes, the @Mxxx@, where xxx is a number, apparently identifies individual media files. I ran a brief test by removing the @Mxxx@ after the OBJE tag from a few hundred tags in my GEDCOM. That left the FORM JPG tag and the FILE C:\Genealogy\Locations\<name>.jpg tags. When I imported the resulting GEDCOM into a new FH project, FH changed the File tag location to media\<name>.jpg, so instead of linking to a file, FH made a copy of the media file and added that copy to the media folder for the project. Not what I had expected, but is workable. However, I know Simon is working on a direct import for version 5 that will handle Genbox files. I may spend the next couple of months learning FH and see what Simon's direct import will do for my Genbox file instead of spending more time with the Genbox exported GEDCOM file. Best, Denise L.
