    1. [FHU] Indexing and Citation Box Shutter
    2. BODY { font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12px; } BODY { font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;font-size:12px; } Hello FH, Anothr no doubt silly query from me but I can't find the solution in the FH Book; a shutter comes down automatically over some of my citations as I enter them; I didn't knowingly set this up and I don't know how to reverse it but it is proving a problem as I am checking a set of 900 + entries and therefore can't remember whether or not I entered the correct citation in those Citation Boxes where I can't see the content. Help! My heart soars at the prospect of an Indexing option in FH5; at the moment in order to make a "book" out of each Outline and Narrative Report I print out, I first make a List of all the names in that particular branch of the family, print this out twice and then enter by hand against each name the relationship to me, the FH Reference, and the page number (which of course differs in each case between the Outline Report and the Narrative Report); in addition, as soon as any alteration or additions to the content are made to these entries in FH, then the corresponding Index is immediately out of date and the page numbers and references don't then always respond to my Indexes. It will be marvellous if the Index option has an automatic updating function. Congrats in advance if it does. Regards, Val

    3. I'm not sure what you mean by a 'shutter' coming down over your citations. Do you mean the whole source pane disappears from the Property Box? If so, you can get it back by clicking on the yellow scroll icon at the top of the Property Box. Do you mean the source pane has nothing in it? Don't forget you have to select an event/fact from the fact tab or the main tab of the property box first, then the source for that fact will show in the source pane. (And make sure you select the right fact before entering a source citation, otherwise you will have sources linked to the wrong facts!) Do you mean the source pane is squashed up so that you can't see any or all of the sources? If so, click and drag on the line of grey dots above the source pane (assuming you are displaying the source pane at the bottom of the property box) to adjust the relative sizes of the different sections of the property box. I hope this helps.
