    3. I use the traditional Place field format, but add [GRO District] on the right to show it is a post-1837 Registration District. Similarly, for pre-1837 parishes, I use [Church Parish] on the right. This I supplement with the actual birth/death address in the Address field, which as you say, is often quite different from the Registration District. Remember it is easy to make global changes using the Tools > Work with Data > Places options. This is fine but it makes the relevant sentence read oddly - when I edit the sentence, thinking to remove the word "in" (which would be all I need to do) I find that the word "in" is not part of the sentence construction! Is there a way around this, please?   Regards Steve ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to FAMILY-HISTORIAN-USERS-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
