Jane Thank you it has now finally worked. Obviously cutting and pasting meant that some hidden line break instructions were present I thought that by doing this I was less likely to make a mistake! Joan
I would always recommend if you are working on long lines to use something like PsPad to enter them in. When your cursor is on a bracket it shows you where the closing one is. 2.
