I have been asked to handwrite (!) my ancestors into a ready-prepared book by my husband and so, in order to do this easily, I want to take myself as Root on my FH database and print out in one Report each of my family lines as far back as I have entered, which is in several cases is more than the 5 generations back on offer. I don't seem able to change this number of generations, whereas if I am doing a Descendant Report I can print out any number of generations and change the number easily before I do so. Any advance on the Index generating facility for FH Reports? Regards, Val Wylie
I am not sure what the problem is the method is the same, select Ancestors by Generation, and select as many generations as you want on the Report options. Alternately, select Individual summary and then use the Ancestors Query to select all your ancestors. "Reports > Outline Reports > Ancestor/Descendant Outline" need the "Options" Main tab Generations value increased as necessary. Regards, Mike Tate
