Morning all, I know there was a thread recently about marking someone as not having any children (I apologise, I cant seem to find it now). I was wondering if anyone knew of a way of marking a marriage with a flag rather than a person. I am sure that I had something before, but when my PC crashed some time ago, I lost all my custom settings and had to re-create everything. I am convinced I had something that underpinned the boxes of both spouses to effectively draw a line under them. Any help gratefully received. Thanks Karen
On diagrams make sure you have No Offspring Marker ticked and set the number of children for the family to zero (on the all tab) against the family record in Miscellaneous, or add it as a field to the Property box if you need to use it a lot. As Jane says, it sounds lik you want the No-Offspring Marker. If you click the Help button in the Diagram Options dialog when viewing the General tab, it tells you exactly what the No-offspring Marker does and how to use it.
