    1. [FHU] Census / Gedcom Census / Multimedia Question

    3. Morning all. Whilst I couldn't be without Gedcom Census now - is an absolute god send, I do have one question. Is it possible to attach the multimedia document to the actual event that Gedcom Census creates rather than just the source citation? I am currently manually adding the census document to each event in order that the document is readily available in the 'view all media for selected record', I find it a real faff to have to go through the source citation to re-view the census if i have a question or am doing further research on a particular person. Thanks very much. Karen

    3. Karen did you realise on the source citation part of the property box is a small yellow square with a arrow on it, which will take you to the media window for the source image? I thought this was already on the wish list, but I could not see it, so I have added it as Option to Include Source Linked Media in the Multimedia Window http://www.fhug.org.uk/wishlist/wldisplay.php?wlwlref=486 On 16 August 2011 08:05, Karen Gardner <karenndean@ntlworld.com> wrote: > I find it > a real faff to have to go through the source citation to re-view the census > -- Jane. 3. A useful work around for this is to use a query based on Sources Linked to record one, with a couple of columns for linked media and then simply select all the fields in the query and hit the View Media for selected records. It will bring up all the media linked to the sources for the person selected.
