    3. If you simply want to identify records updated since 26 June 2010, then in the Records Window click on the Updated column and the Records are listed in descending Updated date order. Remember that it may not only be Individual Records that have been updated, but also Family, Source, Note, Multimedia, etc. You do not say which command you are trying to use to split your data, and it is not clear what you mean by tick box 2 or 3. I have made a copy of my data base - and then I am stuck. Do I tick box 2 or 3? And how do I put in the date of 26 June 2010 for the people I want saved to my new data base? Thank you for your help. Jean

    3. Hello Mike, Thank You for your reply. I run two genealogy programmes and I have managed to get myself into a mess keeping them both up to date. I had thought to split off my FH data base and export the updated parts into the other programme so I could then compare. Now that I think about it, it will be a lot of work either way, so shall just go with using the Records window,Updated Date order list. Regards, Jean PS I had made a copy and was then trying to use the "Split Tree Helper". -----Original Message----- From: family-historian-users-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:family-historian-users-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Beryl & Mike Tate Sent: Sunday, 30 October 2011 5:05 a.m. To: family-historian-users@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [FHU] Splitting a data base If you simply want to identify records updated since 26 June 2010, then in the Records Window click on the Updated column and the Records are listed in descending Updated date order.
