    3. OK. Use the normal method of adding a custom column item, by selecting "<Other...>" from the bottom of the Item list and clicking the ">" button. Enter a "Heading" of say "Child Count" and an "Expression" of "=ChildCount(%INDI%)" or even "=ChildCount()" will work. This will give the total number of children for each individual from all their marriages. (Do not include the " string quotes when entering the above details). BTW: You can get the number of children per marriage by entering the same "=ChildCount()" expression on the Families Records Window Column.
