Ed, Might be worthwhile loading these queries onto the FHUG 'Downloads' site; I could see them being useful to others wanting to follow a similar path. Considering it myself, for example ... Cracked it at last! After much experimenting (and posting!) I've created two similar queries: a general one that shows all those individuals with a 'To Do' attribute (regardless of what the 'To Do' is), and a second one that utilises some of Mike's excellent tips and ideas and which allows me to stipulate a specific To Do task (using the GetLabelledFact - now that I understand what it is and what it does!). I tried and considered the suggestion of adding 'To Do' columns to the Record Window. However, I decided against this as I have enough columns showing and didn't want any more. It's a simple but effective idea though. Prior to my original post, I'd also explored the possibility of creating flags for various To Do tasks and incorporating them into one or more named lists. Again, this wasn't quite what I wanted. Now, however, with the two queries and the 'To Do' custom tab, I have exactly what I want and am very pleased with the results. Once again, many thanks to Jane and Mike for the ideas, tips and advice. Your help has been very much appreciated. Thanks also to Simon for producing such a versatile program. I have at last added an FHUG 'Knowledge Base' article on how to 'Create Work In Progress or Research To Do Lists' that covers all these related techniques. It includes creating the 'To Do' Attribute, customising a Property Box Tab, creating two Queries, and customising a Records Window Column.
