    3. The only way of linking one GEDCOM to another GEDCOM is by using a Note or perhaps a Multimedia link. If you use the Multimedia option, when inserting the file, remember to change the Files of Type option to All File (*.*) otherwise the GEDCOM (*.ged) file will not be listed. The advantage of this technique is that by clicking on the Open Editor/Player red triangular button will open the linked GEDCOM in FH. Personally, I would add your suspected GrandFather to the main GEDCOM with a Note of the speculative details, and a Source Citation with Assessment = Questionable together with the anecdotal material. If your GrandMother and GrandFather were married in the UK you should be able to find their Marriage details online - FindMyPast.co.uk has a fully searchable database for England & Wales. I have anecdotal material that I believe identifies him. Obviously I do not want to include this information in my researched Gedcom. If I make a new Gedcom for this person, would I be able to link to it from the Properties box associated with my GrandMother and show this as mostly speculation? Thanks Tony E
