I guess you have only exported the Gedcom (.ged) file which does NOT include any Multimedia image files that are stored separately. Basically you need to include all your image files on the flash drive as well. Since you are using FH V4 you might be using its Project structure in which Multimedia links use relative paths. The easiest approach is to use Windows Explorer and copy the entire folder structure for your Project onto the flash drive. This will be located with your My Documents\Family Historian Projects\ folder. This will include the Media folder in which you Multimedia image files should be located. You friend can then copy the entire folder structure to their My Documents\Family Historian Projects\ folder. If you are NOT using the V4 Project structure then it may not be so easy to transfer your Gedcom data because the Multimedia links will depend on each other's PC setup. All the data, except the media files, have been imported correctly. Clicking on the blank space where the media file is located, brings up the error message "unable to load object: error in file open". How can I correct this? I have the printed manual for FH but cannot find an answer to my problem.
