    3. Gedview is even better on an iPad because of its larger screen size size. I have not tried to reverse an edited iPad GED file back into FH on my desktop so don't know if will be truly compatible. But then I don't view either the iPhone or the iPad as really suitable for editing files, anyway. Those of you who are Members of the Society of Genealogists may know that they are trying to organise an 'event' in London on genealogy programmes for the Mac because of the increasing popularity of the Mac. However, none of those available seem to be anywhere near the sophistication of FH, so the pressure is on for a Mac version of FH. Especially as I would have thought that being a Member of SoG would, by definition, require the depth and breadth of FH . On the other hand I run FH effortlessly on a Mac using a Windows simulation application ( Virtual Box). I use the Gedview app on my iPhone and that does a good job of holding the information. I don't know what a FH app would add to that. > > Now if Calico Pie brought out a Mac version of FH........ :)
