    3. I have quite a large family file and have been filing my place names in three columns, as they appear in the Place List table. They show in the format ... City > County > Country. I would now like to add an extra column to reflect a district within the city ... District > City > County > Country. If I change the number of columns from 3 to 4, the extra column is added at the end so that the table shows ... City > County > Country > (new column). Is there any way to sort the columns so that the new column appears at the beginning? Even better, is there an easy way to transform 3-column place names to a 4-column format? Thanks, Kath

    3. I have just checked you can put places in up to 10 columns. Go to tools-work with data-places and change the number of columns. I am unable to check this fully as you know FH crashes out after a minute. Once this is sorted I will look into this and see how it works when the FH crashes problem is resolved Victor On 19/09/2011 4:28 PM, Kath Liddell wrote: > I have quite a large family file and have been filing my place names in > three columns, as they appear in the Place List table.
