Hello Mike, Thanks for your help. I didn't even know there was a blue "up to parents" arrow, but I have found it and clicked on it, and it does offer me two parents, and one parent - the one I deleted. Sorry, but I don't know what you mean by the "Families Record Window". Also, I have no duplicates, although the son/father now has a "no spouse" with children! >From menubar use View > Records List > Families. What I prefer to do is use Tools > Record Window Options and set all the Record Type Display Options to Always Show. Then there will be tabs in the Record Window for not just Individuals, Notes, and Sources but all the other Records too.
