    3. John, There is indeed much advice in the FHUG Knowledge Base on V4 Projects and their advantages. In fact some features ~ FH Charts, and Family Tree CD/Websites ~ are only supported in projects. One thing I would emphasise is the benefit of migrating your Multimedia folder structure into the project Media folder. Your structure can remain the same; it simply sits under the Media folder as its root folder. The major benefit is that all the FH Multimedia file links are relative to this Media folder instead of a disk drive letter. This allows the whole project to be moved from drive to drive, or PC to PC, and the file links are not broken!!! Many users have come to learn the advantage of this when synchronising two PC, or installing on a new PC. Hope that helps. I had set up my own highly ordered data structure and didn't want to change it. <<snipped>> At risk of reopening long running debates, I also had my own highly ordered data structure and found it easy to move it into the structure of projects. I even managed to get all the media moved into the same structure, although in that case it was more difficult simply because my media was (were?) all over the place. The key is to read the advice on the FHUG site (I think it's there!) about what projects do where and think beforehand. Even create a mini-project experiment just to make sure you understand things. And then think about it again!
