Further to recent posts on running Family Historian on an Apple Mac: has anyone successfully run it using the Wine/CrossOver emulator? I can load and run FH 3.0 and the update 3.1.2, but when I try to load my FH 4.0 update disk it freezes after I put in my Registration Key. I tried the download trial version but that came up with missing MFC42.dll file when I launched it. I'm successfully running my spare licenced copy of Office 2007 for Windows (and Irfan View) by this method, which I rather like because neither a reboot nor a copy of Windows OS are needed to run Windows Programs. Any help gratefully received. TIA Martin
