I had look in View > Record Links and when I click on a media item I get the following:- Format Title Note File Date Keywords Link/note all with information in, but then further Link/notes with "" only in the Record ID column Do you have any idea what causes this? Yes - after a little experimentation the following scenario applies. Link any Multimedia to another Record and open the Edit Media Item window. Use the Link to Face option, or tick any radio button Exclude from Diagrams, Exclude from Reports, or Use Note as caption. Sometime later, Delete this other Record without unlinking the Multimedia. This leaves behind Link/Note entries not linked to anything. To delete these en masse requires a Query so that you can select multiple Link/Note fields and delete them. You need to create a Query Type of Multimedia and add Columns for each Link/Note %OBJE.NOTE2[1]% %OBJE.NOTE2[2]% %OBJE.NOTE2[3]% etc up to say %OBJE.NOTE2[20]% The Rows Filters need to be Add if =FieldText(%OBJE%,'OBJE.NOTE2[1]') matches '""' Add if =FieldText(%OBJE%,'OBJE.NOTE2[2]') matches '""' Add if =FieldText(%OBJE%,'OBJE.NOTE2[3]') matches '""' etc up to say Add if =FieldText(%OBJE%,'OBJE.NOTE2[20]') matches '""' [The value field is entered as two double quotes to represent the empty string and becomes enclosed in a pair of single quotes in the Rows Filter] In the Result Set click on a Link/Note column header to bring all empty "" fields to the top so they can be selected and deleted. Repeat this for each Result Set column.
