Is this the "Error While Unpacking" problem, if so make sure you have SP2 installed for Vista. You can download SP2 from http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/dd262148 Another possible problem is your AntiVirus, occasionally various antivirus programs seem to take objection to FH, so if you try excluding the Family Historian exe (fh.exe) from the run time antivirus checking this sometimes fixes the problem.
