    3. Pat, Open your chosen Diagram, and use Diagram > Options and select the Text tab. Your current Text Scheme will already be selected. If it is not a (custom) scheme then use the Clone button to create a (custom) copy. Click the Edit button, and under Available Items on the left choose <Custom Item...> near the top. Click the '>' button in the middle and in the popup window give the item a Description (on 2nd line) such as Life Dates. Copy the text Template for circa dates into the Template (on 1st line) and click the Test button lower right to check it is OK. Then click OK. In the Items Used in This Text Scheme on the right use the up/down arrows to position this new Life Dates item. Click OK bottom left. Untick 'Save as default' bottom left and click OK. If anything needs changing, repeat the above but select Life Dates from the right-hand pane and click Edit to change it. When all OK use Diagram > Save Diagram As > Custom Diagram Type and give a name of your choice. In future use View > Custom Diagrams and select this name to use the circa Life Dates scheme. Also use File > Import/Export > Export > Diagram Type and Diagram Text Scheme with the names used above to preserve these customisations.
