Gary, In the Guest account you need to use File > Project Window > Location and 'Reset Location to Installation Default' to reference the Guest - My Documents\Family Historian Projects. Also ensure all Tools > Preferences > Startup tab file and Backup tab folder refer to the Guest - My Documents... folder. As with most programs running in the Guest account you can only access Guest account files and folders. Note that many FH settings affect the whole PC and must be changed in each account when you switch user accounts. The FH Knowledge Base has further details about such settings at: http://www.fhug.org.uk/wiki/doku.php?id=how_to:understanding_scope_of_features Regards, Mike Tate -----Original Message----- From: family-historian-users-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:family-historian-users-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of gary james Sent: 17 March 2012 23:36 To: family-historian-users@rootsweb.com Subject: [FHU] FAMILY-HISTORIAN-USERS Digest, Vol 7, Issue 92 I have a new problem History. I upgraded from FH v3 to 4.1 I upgraded from Vista to Windows 7. I installed FH under the Administrator settings. I want to use the program in the guest settings. I had a DEP issue last week which I received help and continued on. Today's problem, I can save any updates in the Administrator settings. I can open and use it in guest, but I cannot save it. In other programs a box will come up asking for the administer password to authorize access or changes. I do not get this in FH. This is the error I get.
