    3. It is a good day. Thank you to all of you who responded. It turned out to be my DEP ("Data Execution Prevention"). Once allowed the program opened. Good day, I am using FH V3.1.2 upgrade My program stopped working on my laptop running MS Vista. Error message "Family Historian has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." I uninstalled the program FH V3 and reinstalled it. I did not even get to enter the registration key. I have taken the opportunity to now upgrade the lap top from Vista to Windows 7 and Office Professional 2010. Everything is working with this installation. However, I cannot reinstall FH. I am getting the same problem error. I run CCleaners and lots of registration errors come up with FH. I fix them. However, I am still unable to reinstall or restart the program. What can I do? Gary
