    3. The easiest way to have no boxes and just names is as follows. Once you have your Diagram open, use Diagram > Options and select the Boxes tab. At the bottom right click the Presets button and choose No Box. This will completely replace all the Box conditions leaving just Sex giving different colour fonts for Male and Female and the <Default> with <no box> selected. Ensure that the 'Save as default' option bottom left is NOT ticked and then click OK. If that is near to what you want then use Diagram > Save Diagram As > Custom Diagram Type and OK the warning. Give your custom diagram a name such as "No Boxes" and click OK. Thereafter, you can use View > Custom Diagrams and choose "No Boxes" to redisplay that style of Diagram. To adjust the size of the Diagram use Diagram > Options and on General tab adjust the Scaling top right and save as above. Presumably you will use Diagram > Save Diagram As > JPEG File (,jpg) (or one of the other image formats) to insert into your article. Is it possible to have no boxes at all but just the names, for example? Alternatively, I could export into a lesser programme like FTM or see if Tree Draw software is still available..........
