It might be more relevant (to say nothing of being politer) to ask how much truth there is in the comment in the My History newsletter. (I've haven't seen it, so don't know exactly what it says.) And even a non-techie like me knows that everything can be going swimmingly until a serious bug is found almost at the last minute. Simon won't release v.5 until he's happy that it's as bug-free as the beta-testers have found it can be.
