    3. Thanks Lorna, My FH is an Xmas present so I'm looking forward to a free update to version 5 when it comes out. After a week of messing around getting used to it, I can now say that FH is the best genealogy program that I've come across. Paul

    3. Sorry Paul, it looks as if FH V4 does insist on putting all events (except burial) before the death, unless the date specifically puts it after death. If you do know the death date (even if only the month) you can force the probate event to appear after it by entering the probate date as 'after xxx' where xxx is the month of death. Using the up/down arrows does work for re-ordering events before death. The new version 5 due out soon has improved date-handling which should remove this problem. See "What's New in Version 5?" at http://www.family-historian.co.uk/features/whats-new/whats-new-in-5 Lorna On 03/01/2012 16:35, Paul Leyland wrote: > Thanks Lorna, > This works OK for order of events in the All tab of of the property box but > doesn't change the order in the Facts tab or in Diagrams. 3. Thanks Lorna, This works OK for order of events in the All tab of of the property box but doesn't change the order in the Facts tab or in Diagrams. If I do change the order in the All tab this is always undone whenever I do a Sort Family & Events in Date Order command. It always seems to revert back to putting the probate event before the date event. 3. If I enter the facts, death, burial & probate and only give the year (no days or months) then they are listed in the property box in the order, estate probated, died, buried. This also occurs in diagrams when using the text scheme, All events & attributes. Is there a way of re-ordering the facts as died, buried, estate probated. Paul

    3. Hi Jane When I look at the all tab it shows it goes Marriage, Date, Source if I click on source this then shows data recorded, assessment and last note and it is in that field. I am using a family query have used marriage event then under that I have tried marriage note, marriage then I have tried source, note record, and note and all the different tabs under that. I have tried nearly every note I can with no luck. 3. Hi Listers, I'm fairly new to this list although I've used FH since version 3. Now on FH4.03, I'm entering BC dates (which are accepted) but, in the facts tab, ages of individuals are shown as negative. Is there a work around for this? Thanks in advance, Martin

    2. Yasmin
    3. Good Morning I am trying to write a query that shows the notes I have in the note section of a source for example I might have the Source as GRO Index and then in the note field I would type the GRO reference. I would like to run a query that would show the source note so that I know which events I have the GRO reference for and which ones I still need to find. I have tried numerous ways on a query and can find other note fields but not that one. Any help would be appreciated. Yasmin
