    1. [FHU] Bought V4 - promised free upgrade to V5
    2. William Stranney
    3. Dear Beryl and Mike, On 3rd December 2011 I bought V4 on the basis that (quoting from my printed-out receipt): "We will email you when the upgrade is ready for you to download". In Simon's email of 26th March giving news that the new version is ready there was, to my disappointment, no mention of my category of user/purchaser. My receipt says I purchased from the "Kagi store" and I think I bought it from the Family Historian website. I have been reading all the FHU emails since and have not seen my category of user mentioned. Have I missed something or is that email on its way? It is difficult waiting at the back of the queue while reading the emails of all the excited new V5 users!! Billy.

    3. Hurrah! But ...am I just being dense? I cannot find a link on the Family Historian website to the new Plugin Store anywhere, other than by doing a Search for 'Plugins'? I would have expected to see a link off the 'Downloads' or perhaps the 'Store' menu tabs? Also, in passing, I notice the Multi-user Licence pages still refer to V4. John

It's possible to add that to the script you just need to add a line to check the individual/family record for a list entry, but things are a bit "manic" at the moment, I'll take a look at it when I get some spare time. 3. Thanks Jane. I've just tried it on the sample project and it works perfectly on all the available sources. Prior to that, I deleted the plugin and re-installed it. This didn't make any difference - FH still closed down. For information: Prior to V5, I was running FH V2 with all the subsequent upgrades (up to V4). I purchased the full download of V5, installed the 30 trial and entered my activation code as directed. I'm running XP (SP3), 2gb RAM with an Intel Core2 CPU 6300 1.86GHz processor. 3. Version 5? What a joy! First thing I noticed was V4's unfortunate loss of focus after application switching has now been remedied. Next I tried plug-ins and downloaded several. Trying to run them caught me out as a trial user :) so bought it right away. Absolutely brilliant - not only do the FHUG plug-ins contain some gems (lovely Backup, Jane), clearly the possibilities are now simply endless. Very pleased with the Addresses data management and Family Connection display. Worth every penny, thanks very much indeed. Paul

    3. For information: I'm not running FH in Project mode but in the standard (old) mode. I've just tried the plugin again and here's what happened. The progress bar appeared and ran nine times. The progress bar completed nine separate progress "cycles", showing the progress of the search from start to finish nine times. At the end of each progress cycle, the progress bar briefly disappeared and then re-appeared again, before completing another cycle. At the end of the ninth cycle, the results appeared in the query window. That's the first time the results have appeared. I then closed the results/query window and ran the plugin again (on a different and randomly selected source). The progress bar appeared, ran a couple of times, and then FH closed down. I've tried the plugin on several different records and it always closes FH down. 3. Just downloaded and tried this "List All Citations for a Source" plugin - it works for me. I don't see a progress bar at all - the response is almost instant. Intel i5 processor with 4GB memory, and FH 5 installed as a new purchase over FH4, in case it has relevance. FH5 seems to be working well, and I've tried several other plugins without problem.
