    3. According to the web page link below you can run Pedigree for DOS on Windows 7 (32-bit) OK, but needs free utility DosBox for the 64-bit version. See http://pugweb.org.uk/faq/pediwin BTW Ancestral Sources 32-bit will run on 32-bit or 64-bit PC, but AS 64-bit only runs on 64-bit PC with a slight performance improvement over AS 32-bit. 3. James, The FHUG Knowledge Base has additional advice on creating a web page. (1) How to Make a Family Tree CD or Website at http://www.fhug.org.uk/wiki/doku.php?id=how_to:make_family_tree (2) How to Upload Web Pages at http://www.fhug.org.uk/wiki/doku.php?id=how_to:get_my_pages_on_the_web The latter has notes on FTP Filezilla and FTP in Windows Explorer (not IE) - just Google 'Windows Explorer FTP'. Its one major disadvantage is that it is not possible to upload jpgs with the gedcom. 3. Anne, This will get pretty much what you want with an Ancestor Diagram. (1) In the Diagram Options on General tab untick Check for duplicates to eliminate flared ribbon between duplicate Grandparents (2) Right-click in turn on the two Grandparents nearest the centre of tree and choose Hide. (3) Open the Diagram > Movement Control Box and select Box & Bar radio button. (4) Drag the small white diamonds on line connecting each Grandparent to their son to move the visible Grandparents as near each other as possible. (4) Use the Diagram > Insert into Diagram > Line option and draw a horizontal line between the two small white diamonds. This gets you quite close to what you want. 3. These coloured 'swoop' lines occur all over my tree, joining duplicate couples. I believe it is simply because if they were only shown once the tree would be a nightmare of crossing lines.
