Thanks Jackie, but looks like I'm a week too late for the courses in England. Still hoping for some webinars some day. Vancouver Dave I'd be interested in a webinar too. Also I'll be in London at the end of May if anyone knows of any courses near London. Hi Jane, Do please advise if you decide to run webinars - they work really well and I am sure would be of interest to many of us who are not able to attend courses in person. On 4 April 2014 16:38, Dennis Hawkins <[email protected]>wrote: > What's a webinar? Web conferencing refers to a service that allows conferencing events to be shared with remote locations. These are sometimes referred to as webinars. In general, the service is made possible by Internet technologies, particularly on TCP/IP connections. The service allows real-time point-to-point communications as well as multicast communications from one sender to many receivers. It offers data streams of text-based messages, voice and video chat to be shared simultaneously, across geographically dispersed locations. Applications for web conferencing include meetings, training events, lectures, or short presentations from any computer. Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_conferencing -- Jane. I am still using V4 of FH (will get around to upgrading at some point) Please does anybody know of a way of showing marked boxes on a Chart using more than one colour. I have a family gathering coming up (Tenth Alabaster Gathering) and I would like to be able to differentiate between Alabasters who served in WW1 and Alabasters who are attendees at the Gathering. At the moment, I am "Marking" the boxes but they are all Yellow. I would like to be able to choose to have the soldiers in Green, say. Please email me if you have any ideas at [email protected] Very many thanks Laraine Hake www.alabaster.org.uk www.bunwellmaths.co.uk
