I am descended from Thomas Fagan/Fagin (Abt 1820-1896) who married Jane Smart (1820 - ?) The Fagin's and Smarts immigrated to Ontario, Canada June 1846. I have not been able to find any births marriages for them anywhere in Ireland. They are supposed to have been from County Down. The Thomas Fagin family later moved to the USA in 1879. Jane Smart's parents were Samuel Smart & Martha Porter. Thomas & Jane had one son Thomas Jr. born in Ireland with the rest of the children born in Canada. Joyce
